The ceremony for the winners and runners-up of the district stage of the Exporter of the Year award of the Government of the Russian Federation in the North Caucasus Federal District was held as part of the III Stavropol Entrepreneurs Forum.
The award is organised by the Russian Export Center. The Exporter of the Year award is run as part of the national project «International Cooperation and Export». Hundreds of enterprises and companies across the country representing the non-commodity sector of the economy set themselves the ambitious goal of winning international markets. The enterprises that earned the title of export «champion» in the North Caucasus Federal District this year received their diplomas on 6 December.
Winners were selected in three categories — «Exporter of the Year in the Agro-Industrial Sector», «Exporter of the Year in Industry» and «Breakthrough of the Year» — across two sections, «Small and medium-sized business» and «Large business».
This year’s winners and runners-up include six companies from the Stavropol Territory: LLC Universal Mineral Water Bottling Plant AKVA-VAIT, JSC Stavropolsky Dairy Plant, LLC Stavrolen, LLC United Water Company, LLC Baumak-Tekhno and LLC 1st Water Company; an enterprise from Kabardino-Balkaria, JSC Tersky Diamond Tool Plant; and a company from the Republic of Dagestan, LLC Research and Production Complex NIVA Greenhouses.
All the nominees showed high growth rates in the volume of products sold in the export of non-commodity, non-energy goods.
